LOUIS E. PEREGO MORENO is coming to Western to show his documentary, Latina Confessions.
Latina Confessions features Latinas 21-73 years of age exploring it all in passionate, inspiring, and bound-to-be controversial interviews. Born in the U.S. and Latin America, participants are primarily educated and professionals who have successfully overcome notions of gender roles in a male-dominated culture. After that, it's a free for all. Differences of race, country of origin, class, Spanish fluency, age, spirituality and U.S. geographical location emerge freely in candid discussions that ultimately result in a celebration of Latina identity.
